The Leonardo da Vinci Programme of the European Commission

The Leonardo da Vinci Community vocational training action programme, actively supports the lifelong training policies conducted by the Member States. It supports innovative transnational initiatives for promoting the knowledge, aptitudes and skills necessary for successful integration into working life and the full exercise of citizenship, and affords scope for links with other Community initiatives - particularly the Socrates and Youth programmes - by supporting joint actions.

Leonardo long-term placements in Iceland

Activities coordinator
The intern will be involved in preparing, organising, running and evaluating nature-oriented and environmental protection projects in Iceland. Those projects are runned with international volunteers and usually last for 2 weeks.

Office Assistant
The intern will basically work in our offices in Reykjavík managing the activities developed under the Youth Programme of the European Commission. There are mainly three (3) activities we develop under its frame, Youth Exchanges, the European voluntary

Placement Officer
The intern will mainly work in our offices in Reykjavík managing our short-term-Programme. Administration and human resources work will be done. She/he will be engaged 100% in the organisation related to our 2 weeks-long eco-projects in Iceland and in the selection and placement of volunteers

Leonardo short-term placements In Iceland

Placements: 
Work placements for people who need to develop work-related skills in order to become better integrated (or reintegrated) into the workforce. Placements target people in initial vocational training (IVT); higher education students (HE); young workers, job seekers and recent graduates. For more info: Contact us?

Exchanges: 
Opportunities for those involved in the design, delivery or implementation of training or careers guidance to undertake visits to partner organisations to exchange experience and best practice. Exchanges target the following categories: vocational trainers, human resource managers, careers guidance counsellors; or language training specialists in business or vocational training. Exchanges need not involve two-way movement of staff; the term refers to exchange of expertise.
